Emerson Sells Remaining Stake in Copeland to Blackstone

St. Louis and New York (August 13, 2024) - Emerson (NYSE: EMR) announced today that it has completed the sale of its remaining interest in the Copeland joint venture, a common interest in 40%, to private equity funds managed by The Blackstone Group ( "Blackstone Group").

As an independent company focused on serving the global HVACR market, Copeland's portfolio includes market-leading compressors, controllers, thermostats, valves, software and monitoring solutions for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
