Replace "industrial automation instrument" with "component" in the scope (Chapter 1 of GB/T 3370-1989; Chapter 1 of this part); delete "output ripple content" and "output AC component" in the terminology and definitions section; add "measured value of an analogue direct current voltage signal". Output ripple content" and "output AC component", added "measured value of an analogue direct voltage signal", "analogue direct voltage signal", "output AC component", "analogue direct voltage signal", "analogue direct voltage signal", "analogue direct voltage signal", "analogue direct voltage signal" and "analogue direct voltage signal". voltage signal", "load impedance load impedance", "ripple content", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common", "signal common" and "signal common". Analog signals for process control systems
Part 2: DC voltage signals
1 Scope
This part applies to analog DC voltage signals used to transmit information between system components in industrial process measurement and control systems.
Contrary to the analog DC current signals specified in GB/T 3369.1-2008, the analog DC voltage signals specified in this part are not suitable to be used for transmitting over long distances.
This part does not apply to signals used entirely within a component.
2 Terminology and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this part.
2.1
Components of industrial-process measurement and control systems clements of industrial-process measurement a nd control systems
Functional units for converting, transmitting or processing measured values, control quantities, control variables and reference variables, and their integrated combination devices.
2.2
Analogue direct voltage signal analogue direct voltage signal
A DC voltage signal for transmitting or processing information that varies in a continuous manner according to one or more physical quantities.
2.3
measured value of an analogue direct voltage signal
The average value over a specified duration.
2.4

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Range of analog DC voltage signals
Table 1 gives the range that an analog DC voltage signal should have.

3.2 Ripple content
When a ripple-free DC power supply is used, the following values shall be specified:
- Ripple content and its frequency within the system components;
- Noise generated within a system component and its frequency.
The ripple content resulting from the DC power supply ripple should also be specified.
3.3 Signal Common
For unipolar signals, the negative end of the signal is the signal common. If this signal common is connected to a DC power supply, it should be connected to the negative end of the power supply.
For bipolar signals, the neutral end of the signal is the signal common. If this signal common is connected to a DC power source, it should be connected to the neutral end of the source.
3.4 Grounding
For unipolar signals, if the component is grounded, then the negative end of the signal and/or the negative or appropriate neutral end of the DC power supply should be grounded.
For bipolar signals, if the component is grounded, then the neutral terminal of the signal and/or the neutral terminal of the DC power supply should be grounded.
